Why is quality and safety important?


Improving quality and safety is a central theme towards better healthcare delivery. The UQ Health Insitu short courses in quality and safety focus on developing knowledge and skills for clinicians in the key areas of patient safety, human factors, evidence-based practice, and continuous quality improvement.

Completion of these courses will enable health professionals to take a proactive, engaged approach towards quality and safety that incorporates an understanding of underpinning principles, key processes, and appropriate use of evidence.
